I've created a Shenmue 2 Dreamcast version with english voices; User Info: hunkster2. This innocent young girl grew up in Guilin, surrounded by only nature. And all both the US and European releases of the original Shenmue had English-dubbed voices. Shenmue II English dub is exclusive to the NA Xbox game (lucky us! Because of this, no English dub was recorded for the Dreamcast version of Shenmue II, so the European release instead featured the original Japanese audio with English, French and Spanish subtitles.

The rest of the market responded poorly due to poor marketing and lack of exposure to the series, resulting in a lack of awareness or interest in the heavily story driven game, which commences on a cliffhanger from a game that was not available to those who had not owned a Dreamcast. Shenmue 3 English Dub Recording Nearly Complete Due to exclusivity rights obtained by Microsoft, the North American Dreamcast version was canceled. It's a direct rip of the EU release of the game, which never had the English VO. The main reason you should play the PAL Dreamcast version of Shenmue 2 over the Xbox version is because it's subbed and not dubbed. For those unaware, Corey has been working on Shenmue 3′ English dub ever since 2015. I really am glad i don't care how compressed it is.

It works pretty well. Oh yeah, they also changed the filenames from something descriptive like 01AYUA008 (yes, that's actually descriptive), to generic filenames like file_1, file_2, file_3 etc. While kickstarter backers wish they could get clearer updates; The development of Shenmue 3 is still going quite well for Ys Net. OP . I burned all 3 disc of shenmue 1 no problem but to my knowledge shenmue 2 is too large to burn.
