That's not even the worst part. This game would benefit heavily from a cover system, the ability to switch shoulders, and dodges.
Project Eden is a 2001 action-adventure video game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive.
Everreach: Project Eden.
The planned Dreamcast version was cancelled.
Sadly, the game needs a coat of polish.
Man I should have read the reviews before buying.WELCOME TO EDENEverreach: Project Eden is a fast-paced, story-driven action-RPG set on the visually stunning Planet Eden. Many bugs like not foot steps sounds, getting stuck in the environment, bad face animations and a lot of stuttering & frame drops. Fans of Mass Effect and third-person shooters set on an otherworldly planet should find things to enjoy. Would like the oppertunity to save rather than respawn at checkpoints. After a quick tutorial section, she reaches the outpost of Nova, where she is given the necessary leads to follow.Hoverbike versus gunship is a recurring “battle”.Alex joined RPGamer in 2011 as a Previewer before moving onto Reviews, News Director, and Managing Editor. Everreach: Project Eden is a fast-paced, story-driven action-RPG set on the visually stunning Planet Eden. Packed with tactical ground combat, high-speed vehicular warfare and a compelling level and skill system, Everreach: Project Eden immerses you in its intriguing story and diversified gameplay. Some further action is added in sections featuring a hoverbike, but the handling and physics are far too twitchy to make these sections enjoyable. The aim sensitivty is ludicrous and altering the setting (only possible at the main menu btw) does nothing.
There is use to be gained from collecting the materials, however, as they are used for a substantial upgrade tree, one of the few elements that feel sufficiently fleshed out.Players take control of Nora Harwood, a member of Everreach’s Security Division while the company oversees a colonisation effort on the planet Eden.
Camera angles look like the person never heard of cinematography, animations aren't fluid, and a weird film grain type effect makes everything look wrong. I could only stand it for about five minutes.
Contact us. Felt like i was playing a very narrative story and no oppertunities to explore or interact in open world. In Everreach, you play as Nora Harwood, member of Everreach’s Security Division, on a mission to secure the colonization process of Eden and investigate mysterious incidents.

Thank you!The game honestly just needs polish. Combat is strategic, and the music elevates the gameplay. The rules are 15 hours of gameplay, no less, knowledge of all modes and plot of the game, experience in gaming and writing.
Not challenging, just not practical. Wish refunds were possible.Story is pretty interesting, but has room to improve.
For me, the camera is panning to the right at all times and makes it unplayable. That said, the skilltree seemed simple and useful enough, the story might have turned out good if I had the patience to deal with the combat, and having dialogue options was nice. Aiming is over sensitive with no way to adjust yet.I wanted to like this game. It was released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 2.
