Too bad though that the opening is not constant and that the opening of f/2.8 is only available at 12mm and not beyond….Despite its plastic design it looks pretty solid (it’s not tropicalized though, be careful under poor shooting conditions).

Big enough for a 4/3 micro lens, it fits perfectly into the G9’s size. The D600 would get it, the D610 not, according to some of the dpreview logic on the G9 not getting one.I would suggest using something like RAWDigger for this kind of analysis as the histograms that LR and PS show you are not truly representative of what's in the file.

You'd miss some on the upper end of your current walking lens, but gain some one width at the bottom. long and weighs only 5oz. It also works in both photo and video recording, including 4K video. Very grainy, and a lot of her pics have heavy sharpening around the edges of objects. G9 also has a sensor based image stabilization system which means that all of these lenses will be stabilized when used on G9. It is not a problem, it's human nature. But boasting of card speed is meaningless when you have the meager buffer that the XPRO-2 is saddled with.

Of course the A7RIII is supported now. G9 might be similar or a bit worse. The D610 cant be penalized for playing catch up to itself, that would be dumb. ).It also has integrated optical stabilization, and a relatively quiet autofocus.

Looking at tons of vendors and manufacturers pages and was perplexed by the compatability figures for various lenses and Panny camera bodies. Go Higher - LUMIX GH5.
