I remember staring at photos of the Too Faced Natural Love palette when it first came out and sulking that I couldn’t afford it at the time.Looks so beautiful! You’ll see in my swatches below that the pigment is all over the place. Yes, the shimmers/metallics are definitely helped along with a wet brush. I also LOVE Honeymoon and Hot and Bothered! I’ve just recently gotten the Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes eye-shadow palette and I think that one is wicked! Beautiful job! I wish it had a few more shades for a no-makeup look. Eyeshadow palette reviews are my specialty xThe formulation of this palette seems to be quite consistent with all of Too Faced’s limited edition palettes in that the quality between shades within the palette aren’t consistent at all Some are a dream to work with while others are patchy, crumbly, and not pigmented at all. A few of the shades are a bit weird, like the darker shimmery ones. I especially loved it when I had more chocolate brown & copper undertones in my hair. It is a shame about the product not being up to scratch! I use it because I have it but I wouldn’t recommend it if it was still available. There are some shades that are absolutely gorgeous and I reach for often, but on the whole I don’t reach for many of these shades consistently. It’s really convenient to use and because the packaging is cardboard it’s not heavy or awkward to hold.Some eyeshadows blend well, some blend away into nothing and a couple shades don’t blend at all for me. I struggle with larger palettes but I may look up some YouTube tutorials for this one!Hello there! The nature inspired design consists of tree leaves, roses and a cute little bunny. You also don’t really get many fun pops of colour to play with as the colour story is toned down to neutrals and a few purples.
It seems like a gorgeous pallet, but with the over saturation on the market these days for neutral pallets, this one just didn’t ring my bell. On the other hand other shades are marvellously pigmented and apply incredibly well regardless of how you use them.As you can see I love the shade Hot & Bothered all over my eyelids. The front cover is so pretty and feminine without being too childish like the TF palettes usually are (even though I end up getting sucked into them anyways). Man, I absolutely LOVE the packaging and look of this palette! It’s so beautiful! If you haven’t seen Nova’s review she shared her recreations of the looks in the look book that was included, they turned out really nice!
