I think most people would say Tithe is the best founder belief - really strong and suited for any style really. It's rarely snagged up unlike its building kin so you can usually leave it when you first set up your religion.In MP games religion should always be used to help your happiness and gold if possible. The only reason not to pick tithe is to pick the one with cs bonus if you are trying to win a diplomatic victory.Also sure, Pagodas are amazing if you can spare the faith early (and don't want to use it on missionaries). It may not be much early game but if you strengthen your religion it can be the difference between +500 gpt and +450 gptOh I get to say something different! gold/silver/gems/quarries/plantations aplenty) It allows you to go around the map very early mopping up barbs and allowing you to use production on buildings or wonders. For Founder Beliefs, if I'm out to spread my civ's religion amongst other civs I usually go for Cross Cultural Dialogue, otherwise I tend to choose the Stewardship belief. User account menu.
