The outside space was nice with the high tables. The food leans toward comfort and was very well prepared.
Limited menu, but everything is good!
The food is very ordinary and overpriced. Overall, we seemed a little too old for the place and were definitely given the cold shoulder compared to younger patrons. The drinks were good. Fried to cover up the horrible quality of fish.
Prices a bit higher than warrantedFood was excellent, branzino dish was a winner. I get that the chef seasons the food and probably believes it is done to perfection...but it just wasn’t seasoned well. Within 30 minutes of sitting down, before we even had the chance to finish our appetizers they were taken from the table and our entrees were forced on us. Each trip my someone in our party took 15 to 20 minutes.Caters to a very young crowd.
We wound up leaving after waiting for 30 minutes. It was tasty but more of an appetizer than a meal. Prices a bit higher than warrantedFood was excellent, branzino dish was a winner. I know it's trendy and it's the summer but there was such a small amount of fish in each of my two tacos.
So while the place was pretty, I wouldn't go backSe Busca Mezcal, Cointreau, Strawberry Syrup, Grapefruit, Lime Juice, Local BerriesAperol Aperitivo, Stoli "O", Topped with Ca' del Doge Prosecco and Fresh Local Mixed FruitGluten-Free Gin, Local Cucumber, Basil, Lemon, Ca' Del Doge ProseccoThis was a fun place in Montauk. The food was good. The service was good. Lots of milennials, mostly women, in white jeans and stilettos, guessing they were fueling up before hitting Surf Lodge. I asked to speak to the manager and had to wait 20 min for him to come over. Maybe a fresh salsa or salad.Amazing food: Burrata tomato salad, crab toast, fried seafood were worth every expensive penny. Not cheap and definitely think there are better places in Montauk. Service was solid if not a little rushed.
We had a reservation for 5 people and they sat us at a table for 4 until we negotiated with them to sit us at a table for 6 so that each person had enough room to eat. The people he seated seemed to be younger and hipper.
It was overpriced but I’ve been to more overpriced, and it was expected considering the location and the bougie / trendy vibe they aspire for as part of their restaurant/nightclub blend. Also, there is an enormous line for the two unisex bathrooms. There was more red cabbage than anything.
So expensive and I couldn't even eat it. I would have been happier with more fish in the taco & ditch the fries. Its a cute restaurant in Montauk so really nothing wrong with it. Wanted to like it more....I had the fish tacos.
