I can import them from the States for almost 50 bucks a bag (with shipping, taxes, etc.). :)This is such a bummer! That didn't include the occasional bagel and coffee for mornings. if you like strong, delicious coffee, you can do no better than starbucks french roast coffee beans. Now, they've lost me as a customer forever. Maybe, some of the competition they rolled over will come back.

Selling fine coffee in 454 gram bags and grinding it for customers is no longer their mission. I am just one person that represents a $55,000 loss of sales to Starbuck's over 15 years.Try finding it at a grocery storeI get it at Costco for so much cheaperI was hoping to be able to buy the beans in the Starbucks shops here in the Netherlands, but after reading this thread now I know why they don't have them. There is no in-between here. In fact, French Roast is one coffee that people seem to either love or hate. It tasted way too burnt. It was way too strong for her, but I loved it! It reminded me of very roasted marshmallows!

White smoke hangs down as the glistening beans turn ebony. Muted with oil, the tumbling beans become eerily silent. I kept hearing on the news Starbuck's sales were down...I shook my head in mock contempt because they sure lost mine.
I am not the surprised this is phasing out!When and if they have it, but beans are stale and a typical home grinder does a poor job.So it’s true?
